As much as I like helping run the New York Institute, I am happiest with a blade in my hand. The seraph blade of a shadowhunter is one of the only things between mundanes (humans) and demons. Protect your weapons, train with them, master them, and uphold the holy mandate to protect human life.

I can be quite sarcastic, but never about training. Young shadow hunters, hear this. You MUST train. You MUST prepare. You cannot face demons and live unless you have put in the work. Runes will not defeat demons for you. Train EVERY DAY!

Countdown to Idris! Taking Clary this weekend for some fun. Ok, it's meetings...and they aren't fun...but we will definitely stop by Diana's weapons shop and take home a new sword...or four. Maybe hike with werewolves...who knows?!

You guys might cuddle on the couch and watch movies on a Friday night. Clary and I, however, hunt demons. These guys were quite fun to hunt today. Clary said that I "enjoy" hunting demons a little too much...I do, I really do.
