My mother ( Amenah Rababah)passed away in Jordan this morning. I pray to Almighty GOD to have mercy on her soul and grant her the highest place in His spacious Paradise.

Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, who recently took an official trip to Palestine to visit the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza, tells "Face the Nation" that there needs to be a "24/7 operation" getting aid into Gaza because it's a "24/7 humanitarian crisis." The Yonkers Muslim democratic Caucus appreciates Mayor Spano for taking the time today to meet and addressing various Muslim and Community issues. Thank you Mayor Spano for the understanding and being open minded. We look forward to continuing our relationship and to future meetings with Mayor Spano, Deputy Mayor Steven levy, and Steve Sansone Yonkers parks commissioner and their dedicated staff.
