Last night was a magical evening with our friends from !
John Reddick, our curator of the exhibition, as well as our board member - who’s a lauded & noted historian, archivist & preservationist - walked a packed & rapt crowd through the earliest days of popular music through to today!
This stroll through time started in Savannah, GA & landed in NYC - between our beloved 28th Street to midtown & Harlem, too!
It was complete & replete with amazing illustrated images of from the 1860s through the 1930s…including amazing shots of sheet music covers & compelling maps of the areas, too!
Please join us on 9/19 for our happy hour in concert with , too! You can see the entire exhibition & hear music of the era played live with a cocktail or mocktail in-hand!
