The Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps invites the community to our agency headquarters located at 92-29 Metropolitan Avenue today, 9/11/2025 at 7:15 PM, for a remembrance ceremony honoring those who perished 24 years ago on 9/11/2001.
Our ceremony is in dedication to the youngest First Responder killed from the terrorist attacks on our nation: 18 year old Richard Allen Pearlman of the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
We also remember Robert Castioni, one of our founding members, who dedicated more than 40 years of service to the Corps.
Together, we honor Richie, Robert, and all those who gave their lives on 9/11 and in the years since from related illnesses.

Thank you Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato and those who supported these valuable efforts to the men & women of service that protects them after the response call when it’s our time of medical need.
Aligning retirement to those who are of paid public service is incredible news to hard working providers across the city deserves proclamation.
Remember to always thank the Elected Officials for their hard work and dedication that makes legislation fight for us and our families!
