tonight at 6pm an alert will be sent to all NYC-area cell phones - similar to an amber or silver alert. We will be encouraging everyone to sign up for proactive info by texting COVID to 692-692 (COVIDESP for Spanish). This will help us get info out in real time.

A NOTE FROM THE DOE:

Tuesday through Thursday (3/17 - 3/19) of this week, during regular school hours, children can pick up medication and receive standard medical services from school nurses and school-based health centers.

Later this week, schools will begin distributing materials for remote learning, which will start on Monday, March 23.

The city will open Regional Enrichment Centers across the city to provide child care for the children of first responders, healthcare workers, transit workers and other vulnerable populations.
