Congratulations to Jody’s Club Forest and my friend Terence Haggerty on 50 wonderful years of business. On this day, we celebrate all of Jody’s contributions to West Brighton and remember the legacy of its founders, Mary and Jody Haggerty.

What a celebration it was to attend the grand opening of the new NetCost Market location on Avenue Z in Brooklyn! As a beloved staple of the Eastern European community, it is wonderful to see NetCost continue to grow and expand to meet the demand for the products and traditions so many families cherish. Wishing the team continued success and many more locations to come. Thank you to CEO Edward Shnayder for including our office in this special occasion!

It was a pleasure for my office to attend the Ukrainian Charity Festival “Kalynovi Ostrovy,” hosted by the Ukrainian Heritage School New Wave. It was wonderful to see the community come together to enjoy vibrant performances, beautiful artwork, and delicious Ukrainian food, all while supporting a great cause. I am always proud to support New Wave and its commitment to preserving Ukrainian language, culture, and heritage.

It was a pleasure to celebrate Ms. Sheila Smalls as an honoree at Naomi AME Zion Church’s “Women of Virtue” fundraiser. Through her leadership with Coney Island Youth Alive, as the TA President of O’Dwyer Gardens Resident Association, and her unwavering commitment to the community, Sheila continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of Coney Island residents. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

Our office is always happy to participate in the PS 329 Annual Health and Wellness Fair, connecting students and families with valuable resources that support healthy living and overall well-being. Events like these help strengthen community partnerships and promote healthier futures for all.

I had a great time attending the 4th Annual Albanian Picnic! The Albanian community on Staten Island exemplifies strength & unity, and it is always a pleasure to celebrate their culture and traditions. Thank you to all of the organizations who worked tirelessly to make this great day happen!
