Thank you to all who came out to Karaokapi last week! We raised over $1300 for the Okapi Conservation Project and had 50 people in attendance and had representatives from all 5 WCS parks!

We are gathering a group to attend a WCS ReelWild Film Festival screening of Second Nature, Narrated by Elliot Page. Second Nature follows trailblazing Evolutionary Biologist Dr. Joan Roughgarden as she meets groundbreaking scientists exploring the 1500+ animal species who engage in same-s*x s*xual behavior and parenting, change s*x, form matriarchies, and more, debunking myths that females are āinferiorā and that being q***r is āunnatural.ā Second NatureĀ ā everything you didnāt learn in high school biology. WCS staff receive a discount on tickets, see code above. Afterwards there will be a talk back with the filmās directors. Ticket includes wine and beer during a reception following the film. We will meet in the lobby before the start of the film.
