Some of you have asked what I’m up to. Our main project is a gut renovation of this duplex townhouse in Newburgh built in 1865. We had to clear debris from 4 fires, install 3 steel plates, replace 2 decks, and get treatment for one long giant headache. Wish us luck!

I love this door. Not so much because I stripped it over two years and then painted it this happy color, but because it’s the door to my sisters house right here in Newburgh. It’s where I eat the best meals, laugh so hard it hurts, and feel so safe and warm I never wanna leave!
