Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on 90 years ago. Following the end of World War II her father Otto, the only member of the Frank family to survive the Holocaust, ensured that Anne's diary reached publication in 1947. The book would be read worldwide, and translated into over 70 languages. This is one of the last photos taken of Anne before the family went into hiding.
