Thank you all for participating in our Annual Veteran Week!

-We kicked off the week with a Marine Corp birthday cake cutting and Olive Garden for lunch!🎂🍝
- Next, the Veteran’s Day Parade in the city! (Cold but a great turn out!) 🥁
-Then, a mid week Therapy Dog session in collaboration with Counseling and Wellness 🐕
-After, a VA Home Loan Speaker to help military members tap into their benefits 🎤
-Ending with Bowling and Arcade at Round 1 🕹️🎳

Once again, thank you to all those who supported and all those who serve or have served 🫡 YOU ARE APPRECIATED 🤞🏽

Halloween Picnic is coming to Long Island on Friday October 24th!!!

Bring your costumes (best costume wins a prize!) and your pumpkin carving/painting skills (best pumpkin also wins a prize!)

There will be lawn games, food, and drinks!!

From 1pm-5pm at Eisenhower Park: Dogwood Picnic Area

🎅It’s almost that time of the year !!🎄

This year the SVO is working to give back! We are collaborating with the Marine Corp to collect unwrapped and new toys to give to to children in need.

There are big boxes to collect toys in both the NYC and LI Student Life Offices and Lounges!

We are collecting toys until December 12th so come by and drop some toys off! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who showed up to our Fall 2025 General Body Meeting! We had a great time going over key updates for the semester, so keep your eyes open for our upcoming events!

The meeting we will cover upcoming SVO events, E-Board openings, SVA benefits, NatCon, and our SALUTE program. We will also be providing lunch, so you really don’t want to miss out!

Last Friday was our Military-Connected Student Social! We had a great time bowling, and even got to celebrate a birthday!

Next we have our General Body Meeting happening on September 30th, so stay tuned!

Thanks to everyone who showed up to LI Veteran Student Orientation! We had a great time meeting our new students, and good luck to everyone as we start the fall semester!

Big shout out to our new student vets starting their college journey! Today we toured our Manhattan campus, and Thursday we’ll be touring our Long Island campus!

We’re hosting our third annual blood on April 9 at the NYC Student Activities building! You can register now on campus groups, or show up anytime between 10:30-4:30. Make sure to tell your friends!
