Kudos to Pres. Nicole Lester Arrimdell on a spectacular event and an impactful tenure as President. Congratulations to ALL awardees. Well deserved work!!

I look forward to the work ahead for MBBA to be led by President Elect, Justina Rivera. MBBA is completely on 🔥 in service to community including and especially, the legal community. I’m happy to participate in any manner that I can.

Late Post…

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to cohost the 2nd Annual REFUEL Alumni & Student Social along with my colleague, Angela Moore (featured photo). It was so good meeting and talking with current students. And it’s always good seeing fellow alumni AND even better to have my chapter Soror, Michelle Hardy in the room to share her experiences and journey as a MSPH Alumna.

All the best to all students especially those soon to graduate in just a few days!! Hear! Hear! Thanks to everyone who came out. The event was well- attended and we look forward to next year.

Going through the vault during this celebratory time for my family.

I mentioned that I wished Brother Mack were here to witness my daughter’s graduation from . I remember telling him that he would be there if I had to go and get him myself. He agreed that he would be present for his youngest granddaughter’s college commencement. God called him home December, 2025 at 89 years.

A graduate of achieving a degree in higher education was so important to him. He demanded excellence from the generations coming behind him. He was hard on his girls and even harder on his grandchildren.

Daddy would be so proud of Jalyn and would tell her so but also, follow up with, she went and did just what she was supposed to do!

Here’s a few photos of Jalyn as a baby during my law school graduation, as a young girl and later as a teen along with Daddy, my Mom and the Matriarch, Maternal Grandmother.

Jalyn is a fourth generation college graduate. Get that! Fourth Generation college graduate. The Matriarch pictured above first generation (Savannah State U), God is Good! 🙌🏾

I hear Justice Charlie Bethel of the Supreme Court of Georgia is up for re-election in the upcoming GA election.

This photo of Justice Bethel and my graduating Senior was taken at the Annual State Bar meeting June, 2023, I believe it was in Savannah that year.

He’s always engaging with me when I see him plus, let me add, he thoroughly POURED into my youngest in this moment of their introduction. And, you already know, that’s pure GOLD for me!!
