AI data centers consume enormous amounts of water and electricity, and produce air and noise pollution. And many of them are right next door to our parks!

Don't let an AI data center be your only connection to the Hudson Valley.

Did you know? Every time you enter a prompt into AI, data centers use resources such as water and electricity. AI comes with many invisible costs that our Earth is paying for.

On Saturday, we teamed up with Achilles New Jersey to bring the inaugural Achilles Rockland Chapter workout to Rockland Lake State Park.

Achilles International is a nonprofit that empowers athletes with disabilities by pairing them with volunteer guides to walk, run, and roll together.

Thank you to the 50+ athletes and volunteers (including members of Achilles NYC ) who came out to make this first workout feel so special, and thank you to NY State Parks & Historic Sites for making it possible for our parks to host adaptive events like this.

And a special shoutout to La Promenade for fueling us with the best post-workout treats 🤤

More adaptive outdoor events are coming to Rockland Lake! Sign up with Achilles through the link in our bio to stay in the loop on future events.
