The Office of Council Member Menchaca (Council District 38) is looking for high school or college students who are interested in interning with our office and learning about the government sector. In our office, interns will get the opportunity to explore the way city government works, engage with constituents, and learn about intergovernmental relations. Internship hours are flexible. Please note that strong Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic speaking skills are strongly preferred.

Over 102,800 New Yorkers voted to for local Participatory Budgeting in New York City projects in cycle 6!
This year, residents in participating districts were also able to vote online as well as the traditional submit paper ballots. New Yorkers cast, 30,414 online votes and 67,014 paper ballots in the 2016-2017 Participatory Budgeting cycle.
