THE PAPA FAMILY IS SADDENED TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF VICTOR J. PAPA
• A lifetime activist who served low‐income families of the Lower East Side as Director of the Lower East Side Catholic Area Conference and as President of the Two Bridges Neighborhood Council.
• A member of the parish of St. James and most recently The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral.
• A resident of Southbridge Towers since 1971 and served as the President of the Board of Directors from the early 90s to 1999.
• A member of the Boards of Hamilton‐Madison House, Carroll Gardens Association (Brooklyn), Southbridge Adult and Senior Citizen Center and SEBCO Development (Bronx).
• A member of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy, Lt. Joseph Petrosino Lodge 285.
• A Knight of Columbus.

INTERNMENT
Victor’s wishes were to be cremated and interred in the catacombs of The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral. This will be a private, family service on Tuesday, February 6th.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor J. Papa, our beloved figure in the Two Bridges neighborhood, who served as President of Two Bridges Neighborhood Council for nearly 30 years. He was well known for his fiery personality, great sense of humor, and advocacy work for residents in the Lower East Side. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. Thank you for all of the love and support that has been expressed by community members, residents, and community partners during this very difficult time. We will share more details about his funeral arrangements once it is shared by his family via our website. - Two Bridges Neighborhood Council Board & Staff.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Tonight's concert will be open to the public!

TBNC will be holding a Benefit Concert, LIFT EVERY VOICE, to unite the community against racism and all forms of hate. We invite everyone to come and share the experience at Mariners' Temple Baptist Church at 6PM. We will be honoring the late Reverend Carl Flemister and Mariners' Temple Baptist Church for their contributions to the Two Bridges neighborhood.

Doors open to the public starting at 5pm and will close when we are at capacity. If you have pre-purchased tickets or are on the guest list, please check in at the registration table.
