Citywide Clergy Council Visits Cohen Children’s Hospital

Today, members of the Citywide Clergy Council, representing the NYC Mayor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnerships, visited Cohen Children’s Hospital following the tragic shooting of a 13-year-old boy earlier this morning.

Four faith leaders came together in solidarity, offering prayers for the young victim’s recovery, comfort for his family, and strength for the community.

The Council emphasized the urgent need to end senseless violence and reaffirmed their commitment to stand with families affected by such tragedies, bringing faith, hope, and healing to New York City’s neighborhoods.

Meet Officer Kang, one of our new Highway Patrol officers. Today, she made NYPD history as the first Asian female officer in this elite unit. This , we salute her for her achievement!
