At 1 Police Plaza, the New York City Police Foundation stood alongside the NYPD and the loved ones of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty as the names of 103 fallen heroes were added to the Hall of Heroes—forever honoring their sacrifice and service.

President & CEO Susan Birnbaum attended the ceremony, paying tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives protecting New York City and ensuring their legacies are never forgotten.

This solemn moment comes ahead of a renovated Hall of Heroes set to be unveiled this fall—made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Ken Griffin, CEO of Citadel—whose donation to the Police Foundation will help preserve this sacred space for generations to come.

We honor their sacrifice. We support their families. And we remain committed to preserving their legacy.
