The FIFA World Cup Trophy has arrived in Manhattan
As New York City’s first openly LGBTQ Borough President, I’m proud to wish everyone a Happy Pride Month.
The Pride flag still flies over the Stonewall National Monument thanks to the advocacy of countless New Yorkers who fought to protect this historic symbol of our movement.
This month and every month, I’ll continue fighting for a city where every New Yorker is treated with dignity, respect, and equality. 🌈
For Manhattan’s young people, summer should be about possibility.
Today, I joined DA Bragg to announce $300,000 in funding for community organizations providing mentorship, job readiness, arts programming, and other opportunities that help keep our youth safe and supported.
Preventing gun violence starts with investing in young people. Grateful to the organizations doing this work every day and to DA Bragg for making these investments possible.
