We are proud to highlight our incredible College & Career Advisor, Ms. Perez! She has built strong, trusting relationships with students, and it’s clear how much they feel comfortable turning to her for guidance and encouragement.

As Ms. Perez shares:

“One thing I love about college and career advising is building genuine, trusting relationships with students; being the person they feel comfortable asking questions to, sharing their fears with, and celebrating wins with, whether it’s submitting a FAFSA, receiving an acceptance letter, or watching students grow into their confidence and realize they belong in spaces they once thought were out of reach, simply believing in themselves a little more than they did before.”

Today we’re celebrating Ms. Massiah, our dedicated guidance counselor who has been supporting our students since 2015. Her compassion, guidance, and steady presence make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

As Ms. Massiah shares:

“I’m grateful that students trust me with the real stuff; stress, friendships, family pressure, motivation, and those ‘I have no idea what I’m doing’ moments. Every day is different, every student’s story matters, and it’s a privilege to be part of their journey; cheering them on, helping them problem-solve, and reminding them that they don’t have to figure it all out alone.”
