Care Package Donation to the Homeless in NYC | OUR FIRST VIDEO!! Aanya is an inclusive and non-for-profit team founded and conducted by high school students in New York City! All of its members strive to invest time to aid...

Today, AANYA went to Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan to distribute over 60 care packages to the homeless. Each care package contained a pair of socks, earmuffs, and chapstick to help combat the merciless winters of New York.

Every day approximately 20,000 to 30,000 people remain in the streets as a result of the high cost of living and joblessness. Homeless shelters such as the Bowery Mission and the New York Rescue Mission help to reform and transform the lives of the homeless. Therefore, the care packages that AANYA had left over were donated to the Bowery Mission.
