It is with deep sadness that we learned about the untimely demise of Zultan Bermudez, a Board Member and Treasurer of Filipino American Human Services, Inc. (FAHSI). Zultan was the former Chaiperson of FAHSI and served the Filipino American community in the East Coast in various leadership capacities. He will greatly be missed. May he rest in peace. FAHSI extends its utmost sympathy and prayers to his family, relatives, and friends.

FAHSI participated in the 2024 Lunar New Year Celebration Banquet courtesy of the Office of New York Governor Kathy Hochul at Fortune Palace Restaurant in Brooklyn Chinatown. There are 1.6 million Asian Americans in New York. Xīn nián kuài lè! Kung hei fat choi!

FAHSI participated as one of the sponsoring organizations in the annual Holiday tradition on its 35th Year of the Simbang Gabi sa Konsulado. On Day 3 of the 9-day event, Board Members Laura Lopez and Elizabeth Cueva received the Baby Jesus on behalf of FAHSI as representatives of the Day 4 sponsoring organizations. The theme for the Lighting of the Parol was "Pagmamahalan". Holiday Cheers!
