The university hasn’t provided support avenues for Palestinian and pro-Palestinian students (and faculty) who have been facing unprecedented levels of hatred and violence on campus in the past few days. Please fill out this form to streamline reports. We are here for you. Don’t let anyone intimidate you into silence; Palestinian voices exist and should be valued. More information about tomorrow’s protest to come—rest assured that we are working diligently to guarantee that everyone will be protected. This is all the more reason to show up and emphasize our demands to Columbia, rather than to give in to mass censorship as hoped. See you there & share this post widely; we need to fill in the gap the university is neglecting to fill🇵🇸🇵🇸✊🏽✊🏽

GAZA IS UNDER ATTACK! In the past hour, Zionist occupation forces launched multiple airstrikes against Gaza, including in Rafah and Gaza City. At least 9 Palestinians have been killed so far. Included among the martyrs is director of Wafa hospital Dr. Jammal Khodwan and his wife, who were murdered inside their apartment after a strike on their building.

As the Palestinian Youth Movement ( reiterated in this post that's been reposted, CUAD condemn all unprovoked Zionist aggression against our people in Gaza, aggression which includes the suffocating siege against 2 million Palestinians there. From nighttime airstrikes to attacks at sea against our fishermen to the siege itself, we recognize the Zionist regime’s reign of terror over Gaza to be a form of collective punishment designed to make Palestinians there abandon the resistance and accept forced exile. But as Gaza has shown us, time and time again, Palestinians will never bow or submit. Gaza has been and will remain the cradle of our people’s steadfastness and the heart of our resistance. Glory to every Martyr, each of whose names we will recall at liberation.

C-SJP & BC/Cu JVP (.columbia) isexcited to support and in the launch of Wisam Rafeedie’s boom “The Trinity of Fundamentals” on May 6th.

The Trinity of Fundamentals is Rafeedie's fictionalized account of his nine years of hiding from the Occupation in Palestine, which ended in his capture by the Israeli occupation army in 1991. Rafeedie wrote The Trinity of Fundamentals during his imprisonment at Nagab Prison in 1993. The text has since been liberated from the confines of Zionist prison walls, and is used for study by both current and former political prisoners across Palestine. Now, it's been translated to English by the PYM's political education committee, the Popular University.
At the book launch, we will be joined by the author and guest speaker Wisam Rafeedie, himself a former Palestinian political prisoner, who now works as a full-time researcher and lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences at Bethlehem University - Palestine.
& WHEN: Saturday, May 6, 1-3PM ET, 7-9 Palestine Time
