Please join us on Wednesday February 18th from 6:30-8:30pm, as we’re excited to invite you back to our annual Speed Mentoring event, bringing together alumni, practitioners, and students for focused conversations on career paths, professional growth, and life after school.
Alumni and professionals will share real-world insight, offer resume or portfolio feedback, and help students navigate the early stages of their careers. Participants from architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and sustainability are welcome at all career stages.
Speed Mentoring is also a great way to reconnect with the CCNY community and engage with fellow alumni + practitioners. These conversations often leave both students + alumni feeling energized, grounded, and reminded of the impact thoughtful guidance can have.

Favorite CCNY Memory:
My favorite memory at CCNY was when I earned second place in the Hong Kong
Students Association Photography Competition in 1992. While taking a black & white photography course in the Fall 1991 semester, I was continually encouraged by my art professor who saw something in my work that I did not at that time. On a whim, I submitted a photo I had taken of the NAC as viewed through the Oculus, but at night. I was humbled and surprised at the award presentation.

Favorite Memory of my Time at CCNY:
I have very fond memories of Shepard Hall, the inspiring neo-gothic former home of the Architecture School. There we had fantastic studio sessions with the likes of Professors Gary McNeil and Alan Feigenberg. I remember turn of the century architectural history discussions with Prof. Twombly.
I recall the camaraderie shared between the diverse Student Body, and the hunger we all had to study Architecture.
