We’re honored to welcome as the moderator for our Dare to Leap NYC panel!
Keyaira is an award-winning writer, columnist, and coauthor whose work has graced the pages of ESSENCE, EBONY, Emmy Magazine, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, HelloBeautiful, Bustle, Byrdie, Allure, Travel + Leisure and more.
A former Senior Entertainment Reporter at Insider, she has also consulted for iHeartMedia, Harlem’s Fashion Row, National Geographic, and OkCupid. In 2023, she was recognized with the Trailblazers in Media Award for her commitment to uplifting diverse women through media.
Through her Substack, Key Takes, she continues to inspire the next generation of storytellers with cultural commentary, industry insights, and freelancing advice.

Our Vibe
Each ALDB event is a rare moment that invites women from all backgrounds, ethnicities, professions, passions etc. to come together and build genuine connections with one another over meaningful conversation, brunch, sips, and fun. The founder has always had a passion to celebrate women from diverse backgrounds, and feel it is important to bridge the gap between all women in a safe space where we can come as we are, and be encouraged to grow into our full selves together. We have had panelists ranging from top executives at Disney to Warner Brothers and Netflix, CAA and WME, professor's from prestigious schools such as UCLA and Columbia University, top foundation executives such as Girl's Inc. and Big Brother's Big Sisters, women in healthcare, women in law, and the list goes on. Each panel centers around a theme, and is moderated by an editor from The Hollywood Reporter. The attendees range from women in media, women in the arts, to lawyers at top law firms, educators and those pursuing their masters, local entrepreneurs, women in healthcare, mothers, and the list goes on. Truly an inclusive space!
