My highlight of the week... Ms Louise in the house. I showed her some of the comments that some of you made and it made her smile. Once again, if you enjoy watching this Queen keeping her fitness up, comment below. She can't believe she has fans. She can't believe that a 90 year old woman could inspire so many ppl to get off the couch. Let's show her some love.

For my birthday I want to post this amazing bad ass 90 year young queen. Ms Louise always brings a smile to my face bc she always tries and never complains. The ultimate client any trainer would love to work with. I keep telling her she has fans from my page. If you find her as an inspiration, please leave a comment bc she doesnt believe me.

Volume 13 Journey Back
I have been feeling well with my breast implants from my double mastectomy last year. I still have option to have another procedure to liposuction some fat from my nody and fill up my breasts a little bc they are developing some dips and they don't look smooth. So my doctor thinks he can smooth out my breasts with some fat from my abs. I told him a few months ago I need more time away from anesthesia. Maybe end of the year.

I also went off my cholesterol meds bc it might be causing my blood sugar level n liver numbers to elevate. So we have to see. If it is the meds I will need to find something to control my LDLs. I just wonder if I can go back on low dosage of HRT if my numbers will level out. My P*P doesnt feel comfortable prescribing bc of my breast cancer but I had a double mastectomy so I have no more breast

Contribute my perspective as a menopause expert to ABC News Live coverage of this evolving conversation, because how we talk about menopause matters, but the science behind that conversation matters even more.

For decades, women have been asking for more answers, more research, more education—and ultimately, more for their health. We are finally seeing that persistence create meaningful change.

The growing body of research in menopause is changing the conversation. More studies, better education, greater visibility of experts, and, most importantly, women demanding evidence-based answers are helping move menopause from the margins of medicine into the center of women’s health.

We still have so much to learn. But every study, every question, every woman who speaks up, and every expert who continues to push for better evidence moves us forward.

As I will be entering my 60s next year, I am determined to keep my fitness level up. Sadly what motivates me was watching my dad slowly decline over the years and at the end being wheel chair bound the last year of his life. I don't want to wait for a nurse to help me to the bathroom. I plan to be independent til the very end.

Ms Louise is the highlight of my week. This 90 year old bad ass queen understands the importance of resistance and stability training. She always greets me with a smile and enthusiasm to lift. She trust me with what I ask her to do. She never fights me with my requests...just looks at me strangely sometimes. 😄 I look forward to many more years with her.

I have been lifting since my early 20s. Now at 58 years old I am so grateful that I came across weight training so that I developed a routine where resistance training is part of my life. Who knew back then that research is showing that after the age of 30, it is crucial that we lift heavy to maintain our muscle to stay strong.

I remember back in 1980s when I started this journey, it was taught that seniors needed to do more cardio n lift light weights. Who knew 40 years later, that it is taught that seniors need to lift heavy. It is so cool to see our 70+ lifting more than 15lbs dumbbells...

People often assume I lift weights to build muscle.
The truth is, these days I’m just as interested in keeping the muscle I’ve already got.

We naturally lose muscle as we get older. But we don’t have to give it away without a fight.
Strength training isn’t just about today. It’s about protecting the life you want to keep living tomorrow.

What’s your reason for wanting to exercise?

Fasted training got sold to women as a shortcut. The body has a different plan.

Dr. Stacy Sims and Dr. Gabrielle Lyon on what actually happens to muscle when you train on empty, and why eating first might be the move.

Thursday is my usual day with Ms Louise. My wonderful 90 year old client. She attacks her workout with so much enthusiasm where she beats many younger people that I know. She has such a great attitude when we meet up. She is perfect example of what can happen if you keep weight training into your 80s and 90s. I can't stress enough how weight training in your golden years can keep a good quality of life for yourself.
