For the second year in a row, the PS705 PTA is buying school supplies in bulk for all classrooms. All that parents/guardians need to do is make a contribution to the PTA: $40 for one child or $25 apiece for 2 or more kids. The PS705 PTA is hosting a Meet & Greet for 3K, Pre-K and Kindergarten families at Stroud Playground from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 25. This is a great chance for kids and parents/guardians to meet before school officially kicks off on Thursday, Sept 5th. Some familiar faces on the first day of school will make that transition just a little bit easier!

We'll have coffee, juice, and morning treats! Drop by anytime between 10am - 12pm

We are looking forward to seeing some returning folks and welcoming new families to the PS705 community. Please spread the word to any new families!

As always, free childcare and pizza for the kids will be provided so that families can bring their kids and not worry about dinner for them. Please RSVP at the email address below so we know how many pizzas to order.

TOY DRIVE -- HELP ALL OUR FAMILIES HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY

Please join us on Nov. 16 for the next PTA meeting, where we'll learn what it means to be a Title I school, discuss upcoming events, and swap out the winter coats and gloves our kiddos have outgrown for quality clothes our fellow families can't wear anymore.

Our uniform exchange has been such a great way for our community to pool our resources and help everyone save on clothing expenses that we want to expand it into a winter wardrobe swap! Bring coats, etc., that don't fit your kids anymore. We'll be holding the formal "swap" events at the PTA meeting on Nov. 16 and at dropoff on Nov. 17.
