The Harlem Fire Watchtower is a landmarked architectural structure on the upper level, aka the acropolis in Marcus Garvey Park.

This 1857 post-and-lintel multi-level watchtower is one of the oldest stand-alone cast-iron structures in America. It is a significant precedent to the modern steel-frame high-rise construction that defines city skylines in America and worldwide. It is the only remaining of a series of watchtowers that were part of the NY Fire
