🎙️Spend an afternoon with standout voices in podcasting! Randy Cohen (Person, Place, Thing), Ramzi Fawaz (Nerd From the Future), and Dr. Karen Tongson alongside Dr. Megan Auster-Rosen (The Art of Grief) and a performance by Nile Harris on June 6 for Unscripted: Live at the Armory.
This one-night event brings podcasting off the airwaves and into the room, with live recordings diving into science and skepticism, confidence and conspiracy, and the timeless pull of a great story.
Inspired by Archibald MacLeish’s The Fall of the City—the landmark 1937 radio play that once turned the Armory into an immersive soundscape—Unscripted reimagines storytelling as a shared, real-time experience with a live audience.

We 🫶 NYC public school students!
Throughout the past month, Armory Arts Education engaged with more than 2,300 students from 42 New York City Public Schools in an exploration of Benjamin Millepied and L.A. Dance Project’s “Romeo & Juliet Suite.” The free programs included two dedicated student matinees with post-show Q&A sessions with the company, as well as in-school pre- and post-visit workshops led by Armory teaching artists, where students reflected on Millepied's vision and created their own artistic responses to the piece.
Students from the Armory's Partner Schools and participants in the Youth Corps paid internship program will continue to engage with the production throughout the spring through long-term residencies, masterclasses, and projects.
