Shule works with boys living on the streets of Uganda ranging in ages from 6 to 18 years old.

Shule Foundation is a 501 C 3 non-profit organization that provides tailored education and skill-building programs for street boys in Uganda, with the aim of empowering them to reach their full potential. Shule's goal is to break the cycle of street life and mentor the boys to grow-up to become responsible and financially independent gentlemen through our various educational and skills training opportunities.

💔 Remembering Peter 💔
Today, we mourn the loss of Peter, a young man who faced the harsh realities of life on the streets. Despite the love and support from his family, including a devoted grandmother, Peter chose a path that led him away from stability and safety.

I’ll never forget the time we tried to take him out to eat. He hesitated at the door, convinced that everyone would judge him for being a street kid. The grip of street life can be incredibly strong, and for Peter, it was a battle he couldn’t overcome.

His passing is a stark reminder of the struggles so many boys face when they feel trapped between two worlds. May he finally find peace.

🌟 Happy New Year from The Shule Foundation! 🎉 As 2025 begins, we are grateful for your unwavering support and belief in our mission. Together, we’ve changed lives through education and are excited for the opportunities this year will bring!

2024 was transformative. 🌟 We proudly launched our tailoring program, paving the way for the grand opening of the Shule Mavazi Fashion Institute in 2025! 🎨✂️ Through initiatives like this and our successful poultry project, we’ve empowered countless boys with education and entrepreneurial skills that set them on a path to independence and success.

Your generosity has been the driving force behind vital programs that:
✅ Keep boys in school 🎓
✅ Provide essential support to those still on the streets 🌍
✅ Create a safe haven where they can dream, learn, and thrive 🏡

Together, we’ve witnessed Ivan, who excelled in tailoring, and Rahim, who mastered computer skills. Both will step into teaching roles this coming year to share their knowledge and uplift the next generation! 🌱✨

Here’s to another year of hope, learning, and making a difference—one child at a time. 💙📖

🌟 From the Streets to Tailoring Success: Ivan’s Incredible Journey 🌟

We’re thrilled to share Ivan’s inspiring story! Once navigating life on the streets, Ivan is now a proud graduate of tailoring school, awaiting his final exam results and certificate. But his journey doesn’t end there—it’s just the beginning!

✅ Mentor in Action: Ivan is giving back by teaching tailoring one day a week at his alma mater, Enlight Institute, empowering the next generation of aspiring designers.
✅ Entrepreneurial Spirit: He’s opening his own tailoring shop at Shule’s Drop-In Center, turning his skills into a thriving business.

Ivan’s story shows how education, opportunity, and resilience can transform lives. Now, he’s building his future and inspiring others to dream big and create meaningful change.

✨ You can make more stories like Ivan’s possible:

* Sponsor a student for just $100 monthly (1-year commitment). Your sponsorship covers tuition, meals, housing, and tools for success.
* Donate sewing tools or materials to help future designers thrive.

Three Days to Transform Lives📢 Time is running out! With just 3 days left in the year, we’re counting on your support to raise $10,000 for the Mavazi Fashion Institute. 🌟

This year-long program will equip 8 former street boys with fashion design, tailoring, and business skills—turning dreams into reality. ✂️✨ We’ve raised enough to sponsor 2 boys, but we can’t launch without 10 students.

🎁 Your gift of $1,200, or $100 monthly, sponsors a student for an entire year, covering tuition, housing, meals, clothing, and tools. Can't commit to a full sponsorship? Split the cost with friends or make a one-time gift.

💡 And don’t forget: All donations are tax-deductible!

✨ Upon graduation, these boys can apply for jobs in our fashion house, earning a fair wage and contributing to our vision of launching a clothing line in 2026.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our longtime supporter, mentor, and advisor, Richard Parsons. Shule would not be where it is today without Richard's belief in our mission and the support of his family's foundation. Since our launch in 2014, Richard and the Parsons family have been by our side. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Rest in power, Mr. Parsons! 🙏

So this happened! 🥰

A generous family from Kampala dropped by to share some holiday cheer with us.

They brought sacks of rice, sugar, soda, washing soap, and cooking oil! 🎁

Thanks to the Muhido family; tomorrow, on Boxing Day, we'll share our good fortune with the boys still living on the streets. 🙏

🎄✨ Wishing all our incredible supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎅🎁 Your love and support have made this year unforgettable, and we can't wait to see what 2025 brings. May your holidays be filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones. ❤️

Here's to new adventures and endless possibilities in the coming year. 🥂

Join Shule this holiday season to prepare the next generation of fashion designers through our sponsorship program. We have made significant progress by raising funds for sewing machines and tuition for talented students. However, we still need your support to reach our goal of sponsoring 9 more boys in our comprehensive fashion education program. With just $100 a month, you can provide 1 teenage boy with the best holiday gift: a bright and prosperous future. Together, we can stitch a brighter tomorrow.

Henry has been with the Shule since the beginning. When our founder, Auntie Jackie, first heard about him, he was suffering from a serious kidney condition. Upon meeting, Henry made a heartfelt promise to Auntie Jackie: if she helped him get medical care, he would leave street life forever. HENRY KEPT HIS PROMISE!

However, the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent two-year school closure disrupted Henry's future. When schools reopened, Henry felt he was too old to return to primary school. Instead, he went home to support his mother by working in a local factory, earning less than $2 a day.

But Henry is too bright and talented for a factory job. He has an exceptional ability to fix just about anything—if Henry can't fix it, it's simply not fixable. Additionally, he has a passion for photography, spending his spare time honing his photography and editing skills.

We believe in Henry's potential and would like to enroll him in a one-year skilling program, but he needs a sponsor.

For just $80 a month for one year, you can transform Henry's life. Your support will cover school fees, supplies, meals, clothing, and transportation.

Be the Change. Sponsor Henry Today.

Sponsoring Henry means more than just helping him; it’s an investment in a brighter future. With your support, Henry can escape the cycle of poverty and use his talents to build a better life for himself and his family.

DM us if you are interested in being Henry's savior. You can also SHARE Henry's story to help spread the word.
