I have been grateful for serving our community the past 21 years. Law enforcement is about more than a badge. It's about showing up, serving others, building relationships, and being accountable to the people you serve. My years in law enforcement have shaped the way I approach this profession, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve our community.

I will be at His Amazing Grace & Company in Middle River tonight for a special Meet & Greet. Everyone welcomed. Stop in while trick or treating.
October 31st at 5:30 PM

Welcomed to come say hi, ask questions and visit!

🌟Leadership: To me, that is about being willing to step up, listen to people, work with others, and get things done.

Throughout my life, I’ve had a lot of different opportunities to lead. I’ve coached, taught, volunteered, served on the city council, and worked in law enforcement for 21 years. Each of those experiences has taught me something different about working with people and being part of a team.

Coaching taught me to lead by example and help others be their best. Substitute teaching taught me how important it is to listen and communicate. Volunteering has always been a way for me to give back to the community. Serving on the city council has given me experience listening to different opinions, working through issues, and making decisions that affect our community.

All of those experiences have helped prepare me for the responsibility of being sheriff.

I believe a good sheriff needs to be out in the community, listen to people, support the people they work with, and be willing to make the tough decisions when they need to be made.

That’s the kind of leader I would be as your Marshall County Sheriff.

Good morning Marshall County,

I would like to talk about a few topics that are important to me when I think about the future of our Sheriffs office.

Transparency is one of them. If elected sheriff, I believe the people should know what’s going on. When we can and are able, I want our office to do a better job communicating with the public.

That means sharing the work that our office and what all of the deputies are doing, the calls they are handling, the community involvement taking place, and the results of that work, but would always respect privacy and law.

Accountability also starts inside the sheriff’s office. I will have meetings with our employees. They deserve to have clear communication, consistent expectations, and leadership that is willing to listen and answer questions.

Decisions should be made responsibly, and those serving this community should be held to the same high standards we expect from everyone else.

I believe accountability means being willing to explain our actions, accept responsibility, listen to concerns, and continuously look for ways to improve.

My goal is to have a sheriff’s office that communicates, listens, takes responsibility, and works hard for the people of Marshall County.

I’d appreciate your vote for Marshall County Sheriff.

Thank you,
Adam Gast
