Did someone call for a dynamic duo?
Overjoyed for another year with the icons ashleyhensley and Randi Penner in the library and all their shenanigans.
It truly takes two- our library couldn't do half of what we do on a daily basis without both these ladies.
We love our birthday-twin book baddies. ♎️📚🪩

So much is happening in our library this October
🎃Storybook pumpkins will start taking root October 15th.
📚Bookfair will kick off for Parent Teacher Conferences the evening of the 22nd and the morning of the 23rd. It will also be open to shop the 26th- 30th.
NOTE: This year our fair will be COIN FREE- meaning that every total will be rounded up to the nearest dollar and that change will be put back into the fair to buy books for students and teachers.

A lovely day in the dirt with kinder and PreK at our mud kitchen.
Today was just a dirty day because we also built terrariums with 5th graders.

Who has time for Sunday scaries when Monday means fun in the Mud Kitchen for Kinder and PreK🤩

Our recipe: mix the best teachers, a silly librarian, and kids who don't mind getting a little bit dirty. Bake for 30 minutes in perfect fall weather.

When you ask a teacher who signed up what they want to do- and they respond with "whatever you want", you get FAT BEAR WEEK!
We learned about the brown bear, Brooks Falls in Alaska, and made mini bear-o-ramas. I know some second graders that are SO READY for fat bear voting to kick off!

Our dots are coming along ❤️
Its sweet seeing students just come in, sit down right away, and leave a piece of themselves behind.

Prepping some fat bear week fun! 🐻
Next week voting starts- but we will be busy celebrating all things Earth 🌍, Wind 💨 , and Fire🔥. Luckly we get to kick off this celebration of survival with some classes this week.
