Members of our Drug Diversion and Treatment Program are out in the community today for Drug Take Back Day, joining the Northampton Police Department and the Hampshire Sheriff's Office, Jail and House of Corrections.

Stop by Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton or one of our other participating locations to safely dispose of your expired or unused prescription medications.

Our team will be out until 2 p.m. today!

This afternoon, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office was proud to be represented at the Orange District Court’s Cultural Appreciation Day! Assistant District Attorney Andrew Covington, who also serves as President of the Franklin County Bar Association, delivered remarks during the ceremony.

Our office is grateful for the opportunity to participate in events that bring people together and strengthen connections throughout our communities.

Last night, our office and the Franklin County & North Quabbin Domestic Violence Task Force hosted Voices Carry: Honoring Domestic Violence Survivors.

The evening was dedicated to honoring survivors of domestic violence, hearing from survivors, and remembering those whose lives have been lost. Attendees also heard meaningful messages from the Salasin Project and the Resilience Center of Franklin County, highlighting the importance of support, healing, and community.

Together, we stand with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to building safer, healthier communities. 💜

Join the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and the Franklin County & North Quabbin Domestic Violence Task Force for an evening honoring survivors, remembering those lost to domestic violence, and connecting our community with resources and support.

📍 Los Tres Hermanos Restaurant, 10 Fiske Ave., Greenfield

This free community event will feature survivor speakers, Spanish interpretation, local resources, a moment of silence, and a performance by Fiery Hope. Everyone is welcome. Come listen, learn, and show your support.
