GAIN really enjoyed AppleFest in Northborough this past Saturday. We invited children to vote for their favorite food: burgers, pizza or tacos. They got to participate in a poll, and in voting privately via paper ballot. The results were clear:

PIZZA! 🍕🍕🍕 Of our 40 voters, 22 voted pizza their favorite-a majority! 13 voted for tacos and a mere 5 preferred burgers!

Thanks to all who stopped by! Next up: No Kings: Vote Early. More info coming soon!

As we prepare for our free concert this coming Saturday, 9/19, 4-6pm at First Parish Northboro, we're raising awareness about some amazing election supporting groups. The concert's free, but we are raising awareness about some great organizations doing incredible work to support our right to vote. We are also encouraging you to consider donating to either of them, if you are able. Even if you cannot make the concert!

Today's group: VoProPros. www.vopropros.com

VoPro Pros is an all-volunteer, all-virtual organization that formed organically during the 2020 general election and 2021 Senate runoff election in Georgia. Their mission is to eliminate voter suppression and support free and fair elections by providing professional-grade support to partners in critical jurisdictions in the form of election support, voter outreach and education, data gathering and technical expertise.

RSVP to the concert at the FB Event, or at our Mobilize link, in the first comment! Hope to see you on Saturday.

We often hear GAIN members (and others!) worry that they know they should DO something but don't know what: Our answer - Donating IS something! Join the Concert, share community and music, donate either way!

Our free concert this coming Saturday, 9/19, also raises awareness about Force Multiplier (https://www.forcemultiplierus.org/) an organization doing the analysis so we can support high impact races in this critical election.

Force Multiplier focuses their recommendations on targeted candidates and groups where we can all have collective impact. We've selected to focus our fundraising efforts on HOUSE.
Force Multiplier helps US to help key races around the country by combining their expert research and our funding to make a difference in KEY elections. This concert helps us move that needle!

We know not everyone can donate. Want to know other ways to contribute? Email [email protected] and we'll reach out to explore how you can help with your time!

Details: Saturday, September 19, 4-6pm Randy Cahall Fundraising Concert for Force Multiplier and VoProPros! RSVP to the FB event, or at the Mobilize link in the first comment. Can't attend? Consider donating to your choice of these groups!
