Eliza's Battle

Eliza had another set of scans Wednesday. They came back clear except for the original spots that have been there since we finished, in the area where her tumor was. But the spots have not moved, grown, or increased in number. The chest CT scan came back perfectly clear, as her type of cancer tends to migrate to the lungs this is awesome news. The doctor stated that the spots could just be from the fact that she uses that area every day, or it could be an abnormality that is not cancer. Given the fact that she is progressing so well in her therapies he does not feel that the cancer is returning. So all in all good news and we can all breathe again until our next scans in February.

Eliza went back to school yesterday. She had a good day, she was excited and nervous, but she did awesome. We should have another round of scans coming, but all in all everything is going well

I just got the confirmation that I have been able to book a balloon artist for the party on Saturday. He will be here from 2:30 to 4:30pm. Yea!

Eliza's scans came back clear on Monday. Makes next weekend's party even more exciting. Hopefully everyone can make it!

Eliza is doing so well. She is walking with very little limp and she can use the toilet again. She cannot always tell when she has to go, but she can go on command and we are able to do fewer catheters because of it!

We got here at the Give Kids The World Villa a lot ago and we have already gone to a swim party. So fun!

On our way to Florida! At the moment we landed in Indianapolis to drop people off, and then next stop FUN!

The Jewelry is in!, We leave next Saturday and will be gone for a week for Eliza's Make A Wish to Disney World so hopefully I can meet up with everyone before then.

I am having a difficult time finding a Hippotherapy Center in the northern area that can bill medicaid. I found one at Front Range Hippotherapy that can bill a 3rd party that bills medicaid, but I have to find that 3rd party. I am looking into this, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
