In the course of a narcotics investigation, the Norwood Drug Task Force seized approximately 1,300 grams of Co***ne, 3,000 grams of Methamphetamine, 43.6 grams of Fentanyl, two fi****ms, and $13,495.90. The success of this investigation can be attributed to the collaborative efforts of various agencies and task forces.

We want to extend our thanks to the Cincinnati Police Department, the Colerain Township Police Department and their Impact Unit, as well as the Drug Abuse Reduction Task Force (DART) for their invaluable assistance throughout the duration of this investigation.

The Norwood Drug Task Force, Cincinnati Police District 2 Violent Crime Squad and the Springfield Township Police Impact Unit have been involved in three investigations in December 2022 and the first two months of 2023. Detectives have conducted numerous controlled purchases of narcotics and hours of surveillance. The efforts of the detectives resulted in four search warrants being obtained. Two of the search warrants were served in the City of Norwood and the other two in other areas of Hamilton County. Narcotics traffickers often operate in multiple jurisdictions. Through the joint effort of all three agencies along with the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office the following items were able to be taken off the streets and the traffickers are being prosecuted.

216.2 grams of Co***ne
62.4 grams of Heroin/Fentanyl
182.8 grams of Methamphetamine
1389 Ecstasy pills
700 Xanax Pills
13 Fi****ms including pistols, shotguns, and assault rifles
$36,784.00 US Currency.

The Norwood Drug Task Force would like to apologize to anyone who reached out through Facebook over the last couple years that have not received a response. There have been many changes in the Norwood Police Department and personnel have been reassigned. As many have realized over the last couple years the Norwood Drug Task Force has been re-activated and has hit the ground running. We have been staying extremely busy and have finally updated our page. We rely on tips from the citizens of Norwood and surrounding communities to facilitate investigations into Narcotic Traffickers.
