So honored and humbled to be around such great Judges last Sunday Oct 4 at the Annual Red Mass.

As the homilist said ‘the law is sacred… and the work you do in your profession is sacred.’

Please pray for our Legislators, Judges and all who work in the law.

25 years ago, America was changed.
Normally, I watch the reading of all the names at Ground Zero but I’m currently on military duty. It amazes me that I serve with men & women who weren’t born and didn’t experience this. We must never forget the attacks but also the USA on Sept12th. It was a glimpse of why we are so great at nation.

Join me in honoring them by living like it was Sept12th.

Where were you when the world stopped turning?
I wasn't there, but I watched and experienced it (I know exactly where I was). And it changed my life and still shapes my life.
We must never forget. The lives that were lost like Todd Beamer and SO many other and how it forever changed our country.

Today as I was taking the AFT on the birthday of the U.S. Army JAG Corps (founded on July 29, 1775). I am just constantly humbled to be a part of the Nation's "oldest law firm" and the amazing history JAGs have helped shape for this great nation- from the beginning and the trial of Maj Andre to prosecuting War Crimes during World War II (pictured below) to now continuing to give expert legal advice in service to those that serve, again- just humbling.

From serving in the Missouri National Guard to serving on the bench as one of your Associate Circuit Judges, I am thankful.

(This is not an enodrsement by the Army or DoD... btw, I did pass. 😀)

Our family took the long and peaceful drive up to Hannibal, MO to visit the Freedom250 Mobile Museum … to find out it was canceled and not here (but I even wore the right shoes?!?).

We played on the playground in the heat and headed home. Sometimes it’s about making great times together instead of the best laid plans.

What’s your biggest fail with a planned trip?

The 250th birthday all year long! Here is a great video from the Chief Justice of the Missouri Supreme Court that attempts to capture what is so special about our nation and the humbling fact that as a Judge, I have the joy & responsibility to defend what our Founders wrote every day.

Independence Day remains one of the most special days of the year for me. From the privilege of serving my country or serving the Constitution every day, it is humbling.

To quote the late Chris Kyle "I've lived the literal meaning of the 'land of the free' and 'home of the brave.' Its not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest..."

Sundae Sunday!
Judge Lassiter and his wife Julie had a fantastic time connecting with the community at the candidate meet-and-greet hosted by the St. Charles County Election Authority. It was a wonderful opportunity to have face-to-face conversations.

We know navigating the judicial section of the ballot can be a challenge. That’s exactly why we invite you to keep following this page. While Judge Lassiter is incredibly grateful to currently run unopposed on the ballot this August and November, he never takes your trust for granted. He remains deeply committed to earning your continued support every single day.

He wil continue to follow the law and put kids first. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
