Your next project starts with staying informed.

Todayโ€™s MCBIA Builder Round Table brought members together for updates and conversations about the issues that affect their businesses from building code changes to permitting and job site inspections.

A few takeaways:
๐Ÿ”น Prepare for the upcoming Florida Building Code transition.
๐Ÿ”น City staff are working toward more consistent communication across inspectors, with an emphasis on identifying potential concerns earlier in projects. You may see multiple inspectors on site as part of that effort.
๐Ÿ”น Keep printed plans available on your job sites as permitting review processes and systems continue to improve.

๐Ÿ“Œ Bookmark FloridaBuilding.org for building code access and resources outlining changes across the different code books.

Licensed contractors, builders and developers make these monthly meetings part of your business calendar. Get direct access to local updates, ask questions and bring forward concerns that could affect your project timelines.

Strong connections. Informed members. A stronger building industry. Thatโ€™s MCBIA. ๐Ÿค

Thank you to Stentiford Construction, Colen Built Development, Highland Homes, and Ocala Floors and More LLC for sponsoring our monthly BRTs.
