To my Dad, I say thank you not only for your service in WW2 and Korea , but also for being the reason I joined the Navy. To this day I remember how proud you looked the day of my graduation from boot camp. Most all thanks for being my Dad.

Tomorrow is Father's day and unfortunately I can not celebrate it with my Dad. I still remember him talking about his days in the Navy. He was one of the reasons I didn't do what my brothers did and join the Army, I joined the Navy. Anyway, Happy Father's day to all the Dads out there.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial day weekend. And would like to thank everyone for the the support of this page. Only 13 more likes and followers and it will be 500. I never thought it would be this large. I was on the Fulton for close to 2 years. Have some good memories and still remember having to get to W-1 before P. O RAMOS because he made the coffee so strong that you could almost stand a fork up in it. Anyway thanks again.

I am not sure if anyone out there lives or just visiting Oklahoma City, but if so give me a text and meet for coffee. Would be nice to talk with someone who served on the Fulton. Anyway take care all.

I haven't posted anything here on the election. I can't say I like having Trump as our president but he is. I took an oath to protect him as everyone else is. I can say that yes you have a right to protest but, when it gets violent or destructive you become a criminal. By the way I was never released from my oath.
