On Saturday morning, members of the City of Moore leadership, as well as representatives from the police, fire, and emergency management departments participated in an immersion with the 507th Air Refueling Wing.
The immersion included an informational briefing, and an in-depth tour of 507th ARW maintenance, civil engineering and security forces facilities.

Last Friday, Tinker Air Force Base partnered with the Oklahoma City Comets to host a Military Appreciation Night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The 507th ARW commander, Col. Thomas Hutton, stood with other Tinker commanders on the pitcher's mound during the ceremonial first-pitch. Additionally, the 507th ARW golf cart was showcased carrying the Tinker AFB mascot, Tink, who delivered the baseball for the pitch.

IRT missions provide hands-on, real-world joint training opportunities that strengthen deployment readiness while delivering key services to American communities, particularly in remote and underserved areas.
Kodiak Arctic Care 2026 supports civil-military partnerships by improving access to no-cost medical care across Kodiak while allowing service members to sharpen mission-essential skills in an operational environment.
From coordinating operations to supporting medical teams on the ground, 1st Lt. George’s leadership reflects the professionalism, readiness, and commitment our Citizen Airmen bring to every mission.

Last weekend, members of the 72nd Air Base Wing, 507th Air Refueling Wing, 72nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, and the 72nd Aerial Port Squadron gathered at Tinker Air Force Base for the Port Dawg Memorial Run.
The annual event honors the lives and legacy of fallen aerial port Airmen, reminding us that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
