Working for the people. Putting people over profits. Reaching across the aisle.

That's leadership. All three. Not one without the other two.

We lost it. And we have to get it back.

This week the Center for Effective Lawmaking released its scorecard for the 108th Nebraska Legislature. I was ranked the 3rd most effective senator in the chamber, with the longest active streak of exceeding expectations of any senator in the state. Top-3 every session I served, going back to 2017.

That record was built doing all three things, for eight years, on hard issues, with people I disagreed with on plenty.

We have not forgotten how to do this. We have just stopped demanding it.

That changes now.

Good morning Douglas County!

It's Election Day!

You see where I am? I am at the Douglas County Courthouse, because even on Election Day, this is where the work happens. This is where justice moves.

Excuse the loud voice. There is construction going on around me. 😄

Get out and vote.

If you believe the courthouse should work for everyone, not just the powerful, not just the connected, I need you today.

Democratic Primary. May 12th. Today. Right now.

Polls are open. Your vote matters. Go cast it.

I am Justin Wayne, and I would be honored — truly honored, to earn your vote today.

Let's go Douglas County. 🙏🏾

Friendly reminder to all campaigns and consultants:

If you're texting voters about the office you're seeking, please use the correct title. The wrong title doesn't just confuse voters, it could offend the person who actually holds that appointed administrative position.

That person has earned their title. Respect it.

Details matter. 🙂

We are bringing the energy to this election. 🎵🗳️

Party at the polls — Douglas County style. Stop by Nebraska Democratic Party office.

DJ Soul is in the house. And his opening act? My 7 year old son Thomas Wayne, DJ T-Dash, holding it down like a pro. 🎧👊🏾

This is what democracy looks like. This is what showing up looks like. This is what Douglas County looks like when we are fired up and ready to go.

Early voting is OPEN right now. Come join us. Bring your neighbor. Bring your family. Bring your energy.

Democratic Primary — Tuesday, May 12th. Let's go. 🙏🏾

Raw. Uncut. Bad angles. Real talk.

This is too important to wait for perfect lighting.

Nebraska, pay attention to what is happening in Tennessee. Because we could be next.

I served as Vice Chair of the Nebraska Legislature's Redistricting Committee. I was in that room when Nebraska's maps were drawn. I know exactly what is at stake.

This is not just about CD2.

Once a redistricting bill hits the floor, any map can be amended into it. Any district. Any boundary. Any community.

CD2. The Legislature. The State Board of Education. The Board of Regents.

All of it. On the table. At once.

Who controls the map controls the power.

Watch this. Share this. Talk about this.

Democratic Primary — May 12th. Let's go. 🙏🏾

2.5 hours down. 17.5 to go.
I said I would dedicate 20 hours to help flip legislative seats before May 12th — and I meant it.
Your turn. 👊🏾

Douglas County — I'm tired of the negativity. So I'm doing something about it.

I am dedicating 20 hours between now and May 12th to help flip legislative seats — working alongside Jess Goldoni, Susann Witt, and Christy Knoor.

That is my positive challenge to my opponent.

Let's build something positive together, Douglas County deserves it.

Vote Justin Wayne for Clerk of the District Court. Democratic Primary, May 12, 2026. 🙏🏾
