Today, we're celebrating a recent act of kindness from Nick and Mike, two of our City of Omaha parking ambassadors. When they saw an elderly woman's car get stuck in the snow, they grabbed their shovels and dove into action without missing a beat.

Great job, gentlemen!

Have you met Maria Valle, our first certified parking professional (CPP) based in Hawaiʻi? ⬇️

Maria moved to the island of Kauaʻi in 1999 after graduating from the University of Colorado with a major in Political Science and minor in Geology.

“I travelled to Kauaʻi to backpack the 11-mile Kalalau Trail,” Maria told us. “From that day, Kauaʻi was my new home.”

Today, Maria is our general manager and a newly accredited CPP. She oversees the efficient movement and parking of vehicles across the island for the good of local communities, government bodies, and tourists alike.

Thank you, Maria!

“I feel responsible for creating an atmosphere that helps everyone. I want to make sure business owners get what they need, deliveries get delivered, and visitors find the best parking options possible.”

Michael Foster is truly one of a kind. Our parking ambassador for the City of Ferndale, Michigan, has already been featured on the Park Ferndale website in recognition of his crucial community role. Recently, his patience and positivity caught the eye of our client once again.

“A patron recently parked in a loading zone and became irritated that Michael was asking him to move,” district manager Mike McKiness said. “The patron showed his frustration with Michael by getting into Michael’s personal space and using rude comments.

“But Michael didn’t get rattled. He never does! Instead, he remained calm and professional, apologizing to the patron for the inconvenience and expertly de-escalating the situation.

"Our client witnessed the entire exchange, and expressed their own appreciation with Michael in how well he handled the difficult situation.

"We’re so thankful we’ve got Michael Foster on our team!"
