If you were the one who always got scary stories going around the campfire, now is your time to shine… the flashlight back on your face! 🔦
Bring your spine-chilling tales to Stories after Dark with OPL next week. Prepare a 5 to 8-minute story based on a real-life experience and share with the crowd. Every storyteller will receive a superlative award.
Not ready to take the stage? We need people brave enough to fill the seats, too. Come listen and cheer on the storytellers.

Did you know the real Winnie-the-Pooh actually visited OPL?
To mark the 100th anniversary of A.A. Milne’s classic book this Oct. 14, we’re traveling back to 1984 when the original teddy bear visited Omaha. He got tea parties, a key to the city, an honorary Nebraska Navy Admiral commission, and created priceless memories at our library!
