Service, compassion, and summer learning in action! ✨
This week, 7th and 8th grade students at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, Omaha’s Service Camp learned how to sew blankets for Christ Child Omaha layettes. We are grateful for their willingness to spend part of their summer serving Christ Child and other community partners!
A huge shoutout to duchesneacademy and the incredible volunteers who generously shared their time and talents to help teach and inspire these young seamstresses! 🧵🪡 ♥️

We are incredibly proud of these inspiring women and grateful to be part of their educational journey. Congratulations, graduates! 🎓💙

In just the past month, Christ Child Society of Omaha’s Car Seat Program has distributed 105
car seats to families in need. Each of these car seats represent safety, dignity and care for the family.
Yesterday, we were honored to partner with Refugee Women Rising and Children's Nebraska for a very special car seat giveaway and installation class! Mothers learned how to properly install and install their new car seats - empowering them with knowledge that will help protect their small children everyday.
The women who received the car seats yesterday represent many countries including Afghanistan, Sudan, South Sudan and Eritrea.
Mothers helping mothers. ❤️ Nothing is ever too much to do for a child.
