🎓💙 Edenbrook Omro was out recruiting this week at UW Oshkosh!

Our HR Director, Avery, teamed up with Barb, HR Director at Edenbrook of Oshkosh, for the UW Oshkosh Healthcare Career Fair, and we had such a great time connecting with students and future healthcare professionals. 🩺✨

We talked about opportunities at Edenbrook Omro, shared what makes our team special, handed out plenty of goodies, and met some awesome people who are just beginning their healthcare careers.

We love getting out into the community and meeting people who are looking for a place where they can learn, grow, and truly make a difference.

💛 Edenbrook Omro is growing, and we would love to have you grow with us.

🍰🧁 National Dessert Day called, and Edenbrook Omro was already prepared. 😂🍪

Yesterday’s episode of Cooking With Jenn was basically a full rehearsal for today, because our residents made a whole spread of delicious desserts and took their taste testing responsibilities very seriously. 😋

There were cupcakes, bars, sweet treats, and plenty of “just one more bite” moments around the table. Because really, calories do not count when it is a national holiday, right? 😉

More importantly, it was another afternoon full of laughter, conversation, creativity, and time spent together doing something everyone could enjoy.

A big thank you to Jenn for keeping Cooking With Jenn such a fun favorite for our residents! 💛👩‍🍳

🎶💛 There is just something special about live music. 💛🎶

Yesterday afternoon, Rob Peterson joined us at Edenbrook Omro and treated our residents to a wonderful live performance filled with music, memories, and plenty of smiles. 🎸

Our residents gathered in, relaxed with friends, and enjoyed an afternoon of familiar tunes and great company. It is amazing how quickly a song can bring back a memory, spark a conversation, or simply make the whole room feel a little brighter.

A huge thank you to Rob Peterson for sharing his time and talent with us. Our residents truly enjoyed having you, and we are always grateful for the people who help make ordinary afternoons feel a little more special. 💛

We hope to have you back again soon! 🎶👏

🎃🍂 Our front yard officially became a pumpkin patch this past Saturday. 🍂🎃

We had such a wonderful time welcoming the Omro Chamber of Commerce hayride to Edenbrook Omro! The turnout was amazing, and our lawn was filled with families, kids, pumpkins, sunshine, and all the fall fun we could ask for. 🧡

Our residents had front row seats to the excitement and helped hand out candy, treats, and caramel apple kits to everyone who stopped by. Watching the little ones search for the perfect pumpkin, visiting with families, and seeing so much activity right outside our doors made the day extra special. 🍎🍬

There is something pretty great about turning an ordinary front lawn into a pumpkin patch and filling it with so many happy faces. 🎃😊

A huge thank you to the Future Omro - A Chamber-Main Street Program for including Edenbrook Omro in such a fun community event. We absolutely loved being part of it and already cannot wait for the next one!

🍕 Saturday plans at Edenbrook Omro: build your own pizza and take the toppings very seriously.

One of our amazing Activity Directors, Becky, came in over the weekend and turned the dining area into a little pizza kitchen for our residents! Everyone got to build their own personal pizza with exactly what they wanted on it, which of course led to some very important decisions about sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and just how much is considered “too much.” 😄

The best part was not just the pizza, though. It was the conversation, the laughs, the teamwork, and the chance to make something together and then enjoy the results. ❤️

A big thank you to Becky for spending part of her Saturday making the day extra special for our residents. We appreciate you!

And yes... they tasted as good as they looked. 🍕🙌

💛 A heartfelt thank you to Community Church Oshkosh! 💛

Edenbrook Omro would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Oshkosh Community Church for the time, energy, and kindness they shared with our residents and our facility.

On Thursday, volunteers spent time with residents who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather, taking them outside for walks, fresh air, conversation, and companionship. Afterward, they kept the fun going with a Bingo event for our residents! ☀️🚶‍♀️🎉

Then, over the weekend, they came back and rolled up their sleeves to help refresh our outdoor spaces by trimming trees, cutting back overgrowth, cleaning up, and giving our patio areas some much needed attention. 🌿

The work they accomplished was greatly appreciated, but even more meaningful was the time and care they gave to our residents. Acts of service like these make a lasting impact and remind us how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such a caring community.

From all of us at Edenbrook Omro, thank you for showing up, lending a hand, sharing your time, and bringing joy to our residents. We are incredibly grateful. 💛
