The story that's too hard to tell is, in itself, a description. It is about one man's struggle to overcome adversity and illness. I actually am homeless.
Some may think it odd that a homeless person would have the time or the resource to not only maintain a personal page but a specialty page as well. To set your mind at ease, it's not easy. Currently, I am hospitalized and this gives me the time and resources to work on these pages and my FundRazr Campaign. While on the street I carry my laptop with me every where and protect it like a new
born child. I spend as much time as possible at the Orange County Public Library. Unfortunately, on the streets, much of my time is taken up with the things of survival. During this hospitalization, I intend to journal as much of the "Street Experience" as possible. There have been many times the thought has sneaked into my head to sell it. Even at a cheap pawnshop I could probably get enough to put me up at one of the homeless shelters for a couple of weeks. Yes, you have to pay for homeless shelters. You see, if I had given up my laptop you might not know that interesting fact. And that is why I sacrifice and maintain this page; To raise public awareness to the facts of homeless by giving the inside perspective. Yes, I used to be a newspaper reporter but I am not on an undercover assignment. If you review my FundRazr project and the inclosed videos, you will understand the circumstances that led me to this point. I dont think anyone, not even a crazy school teacher, would go through what I have just for a summer project. First of all, this has been going on in my life for considerable long that a summer. I have either been on the street or in the hospital most of this year. I have learned a lot, I have informed a lot. I have received a lot, I have shared a lot. I have had friends and I have been a friend,
It is not a lifestyle I would recommend nor is it one I want to continue. The unfortunate thing about homelessness is, it's like quicksand. Once it traps you, it tries to such you in and is very hard to escape.
