Join UCF Urban Knights Planning Club for Technical Skills Workshop #1: Urban Sketching, hosted in collaboration with Urban Sketchers Orlando. Learn the fundamentals of urban sketching, watch a live demo, and jump into a hands-on sketching exercise. No experience required and materials are provided.

We are co-sponsoring another event for aspiring urban planners, architects, housing advocates, developers, and/or policymakers! Dan Parolek’s presentation titled “The Missing Middle Housing”. According to the website of Opticos Design (of which Dan is a founder) the missing middle housing is “a range of house-scale buildings with multiple units—compatible in scale and form with detached single-family homes—located in a walkable neighborhood.”
