Seems like yesterday but 7 years ago today My Baby Girl left this world. My Daughter Cashmere Saughnassie was 10 1/2 years old. She was diagnosed with Leukemia on Oct 2013, relapsed on July 2016 and had Bone Marrow Transplant on Dec 2016. She was diagnosed with graft vs host disease during transplant. I will always be grateful to Dr. Hajjar, Dr. Borreo, All the Nurses at Florida Hospital Cancer and Blood Diseases, Dr. Shook, The Nurses in the BMT Unit at Florida Children’s Hospital, The Nurses in Florida Children’s Hospital PICU and The Respiratory Technicians. The Nurses Respiratory Technicians that saved My Daughters life on March 30 and the attempt on April 8, 2017. You are My Heroes and will never forget you. I one day would love to see you all again. I hate that I can’t remember your names but if anyone would know I could find out who they were I would be grateful. Cashmere loved you all. One Dr. during the nurses and respiratory technicians trying to save her life said “It is futile to continue “. You all didn’t think so and kept trying. I have severe hate for that word and have forgiven the PICU doctor. Each and everyone of you have place in My heart. When I meet you again have a tissue handy because I probably will bring you to tears giving you My gratitude. I have done this to several already. Thank you all again please remember My Daughter and if can light a candle for her today.

On April 8, 2016 my daughter left this life to go on to her next one. She fought for 3 1/2 years but something went wrong 3 months after transplant her body gave out. I miss her so much and am devastated by her leaving me. I know I will see her again I wish it was sooners rather than laters. I am glad she choose me to be her Mother for 10 wonderful years. You all that knew her knows she was always smiling. I miss her smile so much. I know she touched so many lives more than I even know. With all my love till we meet again. I know you are with me even though I can't see you or touch you I feel you.

I am asking anybody who can help me. My Son Hayden is the biggest John Cena fan. He been a fan since he was 2 years old when he went to his first wrestling event. Him and his older brother is going to Wrestle Mania, Thank you to my son. If anyone could set up a meet and greet there with John Cena I would be forever grateful. He is a sibling of a cancer patient and has to be without his Mother. There is no organizations that make dreams come true for siblings because of course the cancer patient is very important but siblings go through a lot and deserve something to make there day some what bearable . Please PM me if you could do anything to help make this happen. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Cashmere was diagnosed with Graft Versus Host Disease. She been very sick for about three weeks. Ten days after her Bone Marrow Transplant she started vomiting like every two hours. We stopped her feeds here and there. She is receiving three different meds for nausea. Then 2 weeks after Transplant she started having High grade fevers plus vomiting. This meant no sleep for Cashmere. When she has fevers, they do blood cultures. After several rounds of test, they found she had a virus she has a virus. Like a harsh cold virus. So, we must wait it out. So, 20 days after Transplant has severe diarrhea. Meaning she only is only having thick yellow mucus. Sent her for CT scan, and did in ultrasound, both came back no findings. Then they did an Endoscopy of her stomach and intestines. It showed her bowels and stomach was irritated. After procedure, she had some bleeding. She also got Bone Marrow Biopsy and they inserted a Catheter to separate her bowel movement and urine. So after more than week she is still have severe diarrhea now its bloody. The test came back conclusive to be Graft Versus Host Disease. It’s getting worse instead better. It usually would get better with steroids but it isn't. She gets 3 different antibiotics to prevent infections. She is very acceptable to infections. This is their main worry right now, since they must suppress her immune system so her Graft Versus-Host Disease gets under control. This is the sickest she has been. Doctors are worried but, optimistic. Her Doctor and Nurses are working around the clock to make sure she gets better. On a good note her Donor cells are in and her counts are up. So, if we get over this hump she will be headed in right direction. Thank you for all your continued prayers.
