St. Augustine Royal Family

09/25/2026

👑❗️Hear Ye, Hear Ye! ❗️👑

The St. Augustine Easter Week Festival is pleased to announce that applications for the 2027–2028 St. Augustine Royal Family will be accepted October 1, 2026 through December 1, 2026!

Since 1959, the St. Augustine Royal Family has proudly promoted St. Augustine by portraying the famous Spanish Royal Family who was in reign in 1672 - King Carlos II, Queen Regent Mariana, and Princess Margarita Theresa. This Royal Family was chosen to be represented because they commissioned the Castillo de San Marcos to be built.

Each year, we commemorate this historic Royal Family and celebrate St. Augustine by selecting three heritage natives to portray the Trio. Those selected will represent our historic city throughout the year at various events and celebrations.

✨ Could you be one of the next members of the St. Augustine Royal Family?

📜 Keep an eye out for when the 2027–2028 application drops!
