🎄 Mark your calendars for a magical evening at Sellersville's Winterfest 2023! 🌟

Join us on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9th, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. for an enchanting evening filled with holiday cheer! Like last year, we've got an array of festive activities lined up:

🌟 Witness the magical tree lighting in the heart of town
🎵 Enjoy music by Laura Williams from The Voice and more, echoing through Main Street
🎅 Meet Santa for memorable photo ops
🔥 Gather around the firepit for delicious s'mores, hosted by our local Boy Scouts
🎨 Engage in crafts and games, with the Girl Scouts hosting a special craft at the firehouse
🚎 Hop on our transportation service for a delightful tour up and down Main Street
🛍️ Complete your holiday passport for a chance to win prizes, and indulge in special menus and sales at our local eateries and shops

Plus, don't miss the Sellersville Museum's Annual Tree Forest, open house at St. Paul’s Church, Manger Photo Booth at Steeley's Funeral Home (hosted by St. Michael's Church) and the opportunity to support Pennridge FISH with donations at various locations.

It was brought to our attention that our newsletter has an incorrect date listed in our newsletter for the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department's Santa Run. Please mark your calendar that Santa will be riding through town on the fire truck on Saturday, December 23rd.

It's time to show off your holiday spirit and decorating skills in our House Decorating Contest! Register by December 4, 2023, by emailing [email protected] with your details. Don’t forget to put up a sign on your property to mark your festive entry!

Prizes await for the top three homes, as chosen by our Parks & Recreation Board. Let’s light up Sellersville with our community’s holiday cheer! 🌟🎄

🎃 Calling all Sellersville Borough residents! Get your spooky decor ready for the Halloween House Decorating Contest! 🏠

Register by October 13th to have your home featured on the tour map. 🗺 Send your name, address, and phone number to [email protected] (only your address will be shared).

Stay tuned - the tour map drops on our website by October 20th! 📌

🗳️ From October 21st-31st, cast your vote for your favorite haunted house! Email your choice to [email protected] or dial (215)257-5075, ext. 101. Remember, include your name and address when voting.

Join Parks & Rec for our annual Halloween bash, now with a fiery twist! This year, we're partnering with the Sellersville Fire Department to promote Fire Prevention Month.🔥

🍬 Dive into an array of games, snacks, and a special costume giveaway! (Pssst... need a costume? We have plenty from last year’s donations)
🍬 Experience the festive fun of a "trunk or treat" in the fire department parking lot. Calling all community members, businesses, and groups to join in - it's free to participate!
🍬 Live, informative fire prevention demos by our brave fire department team!

🚘 Parking & Directions:

Event parking is available at Poppa Joe's Grove.
Please note: There will be NO entrance to the firehouse parking lot. Attendees, please enter from North Main Street to Elm Street, then take a left on North Branch Street.

Sellersville Borough's Parks & Recreation Board is holding a Tree Naming Contest.
There are 5 trees tied with pink tape and marked with the species name in Lake Lenape Park. The map can be found at https://sellersvilleboro.org/rec-about.html.
Name each tree and submit your entry no later than Sunday, August 27th to the Sellersville Borough Office or email your entry to [email protected].

Winning names will be chosen from all entries. Ceremony to honor winning entries will be held at the Scout Cabin (date TBD)
