TUEMS is thrilled to announce that EMS-1 has officially joined the campus safety team! This morning, the Philadelphia Regional EMS Council accredited our vehicle and added it to our current operational license. We look forward to expanding the services we offer Temple University and the North Philadelphia community.

Temple EMS would like to welcome our newest member of the family, EMS-1! This unit will function as a quick response vehicle in TUEMS operations. Our members will utilize the unit to respond to medical emergencies on Temple’s Main Campus and the surrounding outskirts of campus.

Thank you so much to everyone who made this amazing operational advancement possible! Immense special thanks to: TUPD Administration/TUEMS Advisory Board, Temple University Risk Management, and Temple University Counsel. Temple EMS looks forward to continuously expanding the services we offer to Temple University and the North Philadelphia community.

Thank you to Jordan Miller for the countless hours you spent creating our dream graphic design. And thank you to VCI Emergency Vehicles for making the dream a reality! You did a phenomenal job applying the graphics to our vehicle; we look forward to showing off the car for years to come.

The EMS-1 Ceremony has been moved to the interior of Montgomery Parking Garage! There is a side entrance on 11th Street, just past the Montgomery and 11th intersection. The celebration is immediately inside the entrance. We hope to see you there!

Join us in celebrating National Collegiate EMS Week! We have two exciting days of activities lined up on Wednesday, November 14th and Friday, November 16th from 11 AM-1PM at Alumni Circle. On Wednesday, learn how to save a life through Hands-Only CPR and Stop the Bleed demonstrations. Friday, we will have an informational booth on medical amnesty and available on-campus emergency services. Following the brief informational, you can choose to pie your favorite EMT in the face! We will also have a great giveaway....you don't want to miss this exciting celebration!
