This week, AFP Pennsylvania Deputy State Director Nick Kerin was at the Capitol with our mobile billboard delivering a message lawmakers need to hear:
Stop raising costs on families. Stop SB 908.
The Senate has already passed SB 908, and now we're waiting to see whether the House takes it up.
Pennsylvania families are already dealing with rising costs. Taxpayers deserve policies that encourage competition and keep public projects affordable, not legislation that could drive up costs and make it harder to get the best value for every tax dollar spent.
Our grassroots activists are paying attention, and we'll continue showing up, speaking out, and advocating for policies that help Pennsylvanians thrive.
If SB 908 comes before the House, we urge lawmakers to stand with taxpayers and vote NO.

At Americans for Prosperity Pennsylvania we are urging the Pennsylvania Senate to oppose SB 908.
Prevailing wage mandates disproportionately burden smaller and nonunion contractors, limiting opportunities for businesses to compete on price, quality, and innovation.
Now is not the time to raise costs across Pennsylvania.

Yesterday was a special day as we celebrated Roslyn Williams graduating from the Anne B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series! 🎓
Roslyn's leadership, determination, and commitment to her community were on full display throughout the program. It came as no surprise when her classmates selected her to speak on behalf of the Class of 2026, a reflection of the respect and appreciation she earned throughout the program.
We are so proud of Roslyn and all she has accomplished. We are even more excited to see how she uses the tools, knowledge, and relationships she gained through Anstine to continue elevating her community and expanding her reach.
Anyone who knows Roslyn knows she is passionate about fighting for Philadelphia and creating more opportunities for people across Pennsylvania. We have no doubt she will continue leading, serving, and making a difference wherever she goes.
Congratulations, Roslyn! Your AFP Pennsylvania family is proud to stand alongside you, and we cannot wait to see what you do next. 👏🎉

For years, surveillance cameras known as Automated License Plate Readers, or ALPRs, have quietly tracked Americans’ movements by scanning and storing license plate data from passing cars, often without warrants or probable cause.
Unlike red light or speed cameras that activate when laws are broken, ALPRs collect information on everyone, creating a massive surveillance dragnet that threatens Americans’ privacy and constitutional rights.
That’s why Rep. Scott Perry’s amendment to ban ALPRs on federally funded highways, except for tolling purposes, is such an important step forward.
Thank you to Rep. Scott Perry for leading on this issue and standing up for Americans’ freedoms.

Congress to Vote on Much Needed Ban on Highway Surveillance Cameras
For years now, cameras have quietly appeared on streets all across the country, tracking your movements as you go about your life. Known as automated license plate readers (ALPRs), these cameras scan every car that passes them. An amendment to the 2026 highway bill may soon roll back this infringeme...
